By the way, this bit here could be a bit misleading to all six of your readers (including you and Mrs. Unaccomplished Angler):

I’ll cop to thinking for a few moments after hooking that fish that I’d tied into a steelhead, but I think we all realized well before it was landed that this was no steelhead. Just sayin’, because the way you wrote that made it sound like I landed the fish and we all thought it was a steelhead. We may be dumb-arses, but we’re not that dumb.

What’s this crap about Chunky doing most of the refinishing work on that boat? I know he’d never say something like that when I was around, ’cause I’d kick his ass, but it sounds like the sort of claim he would make behind my back as I’m yarding in a gi-normous dolly, er, bull trout.
