Beer is good! Especially the home-made kind! Ya know I just couldn't bring myself to say it outright. Besides, I thought it was kinda funny :-)

Marck,

I hope Mo will let you into his doghouse and keep you warm. Actually, if Mrs. Marck would chime in here I could explain that my blog is chock full of inaccuracies and that you tried to pry me away from the river so you could get home in time, but I would have nothin to do with it. Sorta like that scene in Caddyshack when Carl is caddying for the Priest in the thunder storm.

Oh man... you guys! Kirk, I'm glad you broke the streak and got some redemption!!! That's awesome. Marck, I feel for you... As I'm sure Kirk, and I know, cause we've both been there more than once.
You know its a tough day when the only thing that beats the smell of skunk away is a whitey. But I'll take that whitey over the smell of skunk any day of the week! Hey, Marck, at least your deskunk was a rainbow!
But, hey even the worst day fishing beats the hell out of the BEST day at work... unless... _________ (fill in the blank.. but it has something to do with making capital gains while standing or sitting in said boat or standing in or on said body of water attempting to coax any any non-tetrapod craniate (i.e. an animal with a skull and in most cases a backbone) that has gills throughout life and has limbs, if any, in the shape of fins onto any type of artificial, natural, or otherwise type of lure or bait that is attached to any type of mono filament, fluorocarbon, spectra, braided, or any other type of small diameter string or line that is attached to a fixed spooling device that is attached to a stick typically made of graphite, fiberglass, bamboo, cane, carbon or other material for the intended purpose of removing said non-tetrapod craniate from their dwelling in said body of water for sport, food, or harvest) That's one long way to say you're a fishing guide or you fish for a living isn't it?

My grammar and punctuation is a nightmare. Don't shoot! Just enjoy! I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Rebecca thanks for your thoughts. I will have to drown my sorrows with a couple of mac and Jacks. The way I see it Kirk was due he had no place to go but up. Was it skill? maybe. I would like to think it was the guy on the oars that put him on the fish. Kirk thanks for making me relive the nightmare.
PS I thought the wife know the whole story. I WAS WRONG.

Rebecca, I am sure Marck appreciates your sensitive sentiments but fret not- he's a big boy and he'll be fine. And I am sure the next time we fish things will resume the normal state of affairs.

Well done! You accomplishments are due their blog time and we would never hold such a glorious moment in the spotlight away from you.
My thoughts are with Marck on this day. Hopefully you can control any internal urge to gloat over the winter. His wounds must be deep......
