I fully agree- you don’t go messin’ with hats. I’m taking your advice and placing full blame on Marck’s stupid yellow hat, and we’re hitting the Yak tomorrow to see if we can get it right this time. Hopefully we’ll dodge all bullets ; )

If I were you, I’d totally blame Marck for the 3 inch trout, lack of beer and missed fries.
It was the hat.
You just can’t be changing up hats, even if they match with your boat. It will throw the whole dynamics of a trip out of whack.
You were doomed before you put an oar in the water.
When I yank a 3 inch trout out of the water and it hits me in the chest or zings over my head I yell out “Bullet!” as a warning to any innocent bystanders.

Thanks for stopping by, Rowdy. My buddy Marck called and wants to go fish the Canyon tomorrow. I think I’ll just have him drop me off at the Tav instead. He can pick me up on his way back west.
